Get your bookmarks at the ready, everyone! Let us introduce to you the gorgeous and oh so stylish fashion blogger Daniella from Lella Victoria. Not only are her pictures so Vogue-worthy, she is also super lovely, making her the perfect choice to showcase our beautiful bags. Our collection of bags are so amazing, they deserve a blog post dedicated to just themselves. Showcasing three of our fabulous bags with three outfits, let’s hear from Daniella about this season’s must-have accessories…
Before shoes, there were bags! Not literally but for me at least. I’ve loved bags ever since I was twelve years old and all I wanted was a special bag for my 13th birthday. Fast forward to now and my love for bags has been somewhat strained and I have become un-inspired. Bag hunting can be a tricky maze to navigate – there is colour, size and quality to be considered!
I have even gone as far as attempting to go without a bag when I leave the house and to instead rely on my pockets alone. Though as cool as going bag-less made me feel, I figured out pretty quickly that it’s actually not very practical at all! Yes, I am lucky to have some gorgeous timeless bags in my wardrobe but like most women I know, sometimes I just want a new bag to refresh an outfit from my already existing wardrobe. When Laura Ashley contacted me about their bags, I jumped at the chance because I’ve always adored Laura Ashley and it was the perfect opportunity to get over my bag fear – after all, Laura Ashley bags are beautiful so I didn’t need any convincing! I chose the orange minimal cross body bag for those days when a pop of colour is needed (winter doesn’t have to mean neutral colours!), the red knot detail bag for more sophisticated looks and finally the leather and suede plait handle bag because it’s so versatile – what’s not to love?
What came through my door completely re-inspired me for my appreciation of bags once again. There was a variation of colours, styles and textures. Each bag being different to the next and the quality of each one remained consistent. This was just what I needed to lift me from what I like to call, my bag coma! What I loved most about the bags was the varying sizes, structure and the endless outfits that these bags would compliment. When I look for new bag candidates, I tend to lean towards bags that don’t look big but can hold a surprising amount of things and this was undoubtedly the case for both the orange cross body bag and berry red bag. Yes, the tanned one is a little larger than what I would usually opt for but at the same time, we all find ourselves needing a bigger bag from time to time and so why not do it in style?! The plaited handles on the suede tote actually made it very comfortable to carry on my shoulders – I love it!
I really did love how the bags worked so easily with each outfit and I know that they will continue to make appearances in future looks of mine. Whether it was a pop of colour, a structured shape or the material of the moment, it was all there! I hope you all enjoy the looks I put together; I certainly enjoyed creating them.”
A big thank you to Daniella for showcasing our bags so wonderfully. And the great news is that there are so many other bags available which are equally as beautiful – you can check them all out here. Bags are such a necessity, after all…
