Blogger Kathryn shares her three favourite festive looks... read more
Now that we’re well and truly into the festive spirit (pass the mince pies!), we’re thinking about how to keep warm yet stylish over the upcoming month. Whilst winter is definitely all about keeping cosy, there’s no denying it is the season for full on glamour: From New Years Eve to your Christmas party, it’s time to throw out last month’s boring jumper, and bring in the embellishment!
Always looking glam, we decided there was truly only one person we could ask to pick her three favourite festive looks for us, Kathryn from Kat got the cream. A busy mum, blogger, and writer, Kathryn took some time out of her busy schedule to join us in the studio where she handpicked her favourite festive outfits and donned her best pose, and what a natural she was! We sat down with her to discuss her best picks for Christmas day, a Boxing Day walk, and of course, New Year’s Eve…
Christmas Day…
Black Crepe Tapered Leg Trousers | Wool Mix Patterned Jumper | Black Suede Boots (available in store)
I love a good Christmas jumper and this Fairisle pattern is fun and festive, plus I don’t think you should take yourself too seriously at this time of year! These drawstring trousers are great too. They’re smart enough for hosting guests but have plenty of room for second helpings and comfy slouching on the sofa afterwards.
A Boxing Day Stroll…
Black Roll Neck Jumper | Pink Wool Rich City Coat | Pink Check Wool Kilt Style Skirt | Black Patent Leather Brogues | Tote Bag (available in store)
I adore this pink tweed kilt, it’s so cute and the coat and bag complement it really well. You could wear this outfit for visiting family and friends or going for a walk (especially in the comfy brogues) and still look good
enough for Christmas drinks at the pub later on.
New Year’s Eve…
Foil Dobby Flock Dress | Black Suede Boots (available in store) | Gem Clasp Clutch Bag
Everyone needs a little black dress and the silver polka dot print on this one gives it a bit of sparkle and makes it extra special. This means you can keep the rest of the accessories simple – I love this little jewelled
clutch for keeping your phone and lipstick safe.
