‘THE VINTAGE TEA PARTY YEAR’ BOOK LAUNCH

Angel Adoree returns in true splendor with the release of her second book…

Last night, Vintage Queen and dear Laura Ashley chum Angel Adoree played hostess with the mostess once again for the launch party of her newly released book ‘The Vintage Tea Party Year’, the much anticipated sequel to our coffee table favourite ‘The Vintage Tea Party Book’. Angel (founder of hosting company ‘The Vintage Patisserie‘) returns with sheer finesse, taking you on a beautifully illustrated journey through 12 months of parties, picnics, tea-time treats and quirky craft projects. Get inspired for every occasion with tips for everything from a New Year’s Eve soiree, wedding tea party and baby shower to an intimate dinner date for two or a hen party with a twist.

Judging by yesterday’s press launch, the Vintage Patisserie ladies sure know how to host a party! Taken from the book’s extensive range of yummy recipes, we got to sample everything from wild mushroom and pigeon breast pithiviers (our favourite) to pear & mint chocolate tartlets (a work of art). All yummy treats were washed down with gin cocktails served up from her team of glamorous 50’s clad ladies…

Be the envy of your themed parties with a perfectly coiffed 40’s/50’s barnet or why not get some regular practice in and don day-time glam every day of the week?! Held at The Vintage Patisserie’s headquarters in East London, and taught by founder of ‘Lipstick and Curls’ Amanda Moorhouse (with 20 years experience in hair and make-up under her belt) the Vintage Hair Academy is on every Friday but book early to confirm a spot here>>
