One for big kids and little kids alike, let us say an exciting hello to our brand new Decorative Paint Rollers. Featuring three of our most popular prints, choose from Aviary Garden, Salcombe and Bella Butterfly, roll your very own hand-painted design wherever takes your fancy. We heard press show whispers of customised stairs, fabric bags and even wrapping paper!
Shining the spotlight on our new lighting collection, this season sees a shift to the industrial and contemporary influences. Our best selling Clayton Utility light has been re-worked in our ever popular Duck Egg colour way, with the introduction of recycled glass bases for display and decorative proposes, not forgetting our brand new range of filament bulbs that offer quirky design edge.
Next on the press day agenda were our four fresh new home stories, featuring a diverse range of prints and colourways – whatever your interior taste, there is something for everyone…
A fresh and vibrant story with a palette of apple and topaz, our Palm House collection is a tropical collection of leaf prints, orchids and hummingbird motifs. Inspired by our heritage prints in the archive, stealing the show was the signature Francesca orchid pattern that has been splashed across fabrics, wallpaper and decorative accessories. Transporting you to a destination far away, what’s not to love about this on-trend story?
Offering a contemporary take on a heritage look, Casual Country is a relaxed and laidback story. Featuring a calming colour palette of blue hues: cobalt, cornflower and hyacinth. You may recognise our popular design Pussy Willow that is now taking form in the calming Seaspray hue.
Flying the flag for British wool, we are delighted to announce that the collection features a number of cushions that have been woven in our very own Yorkshire mills.
Our next collection takes inspiration from the Scandinavian design trend. An inviting colour palette of grey, cream and duck egg blue, softened with accents of camomile. This charming Simplicity collection is perfect for contemporary living spaces, while the pared back Ava Tulip print stays true to the Laura Ashley heritage and features on wallpaper, cushions, fabric and accessories.
Taking our iconic Josette print to the next level, our Natural Glamour collection focuses on the romance of French interior styling. Antique inspired, the colour palette focuses on pretty lilacs, lavender hues and heather tone with amethyst and seaspray accents added to linen to create a glamourous, feminine look.
Moving on into our fashion, our new collections are brushing up on the key trends noted for Spring Summer 15. Putting a spring into our step, we’re predicting a serious fashion frenzy with candy coloured pastels, mochorome prints and zesty brights, all splashed across both accessories and fashion pieces. Playing true to the classic Laura Ashley style, botanical and ditzy florals take centre stage for both a relaxed day-time look and a more dressier occasionwear style.
We’ve got style in the bag for S/S15!
